Men's Rowing Posts Solid Finish at Knecht Cup

CHERRY HILL, N.J. - Embry-Riddle Men's Rowing closed out competition at the Knecht Cup on Sunday. Varsity eight took fifth place in the William J, Knecht Trophy final, while the second varsity eight placed fourth. 

It's the second-straight year Embry-Riddle is competing at this regatta.

THE RESULTS
• 2V8+ | In Sunday's final, the Eagles improved on both time and finish from Saturday. In a six-boat field that included Trinity, MIT Mercyhurst, Lehigh and Fairfield, ERAU placed fourth in a time of 6:21.46.
• V8+ | In the final event of the day on Sunday, the varsity eight boat also had a faster race than it did on Saturday, but the Eagles were edged by Stetson by .43 seconds for a fifth-place finish.

UP NEXT
The Eagles head to Oak Ridge, Tennessee on April 18-19 to compete in the SIRA Championships.
