CORAL GABLES, Fla. - The Embry-Riddle men's track and field team participated in the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational on Saturday. A number of Eagles posted personal records and season bests during the day's events.
Ricardo Dunbar set a personal record with a 22.10 in the 200m, while Emerson Tyler posted a season best in the same event with a 22.05. Tyler also set a personal record with a 49.80 in the 400m.
In the 1500m, James Fell placed seventh with a personal-best time of 4:02.40 and Andrew Carpenter ran a season-best time of 4:01.31.
In the field events, Maurice Cullum set a new personal best with a mark of 14.36m in the shot put.
The relay teams also posted season-best times, with the group of Charles Elbery, Dunbar, Annile Williams and Kenneth Shrimpton running a 41.86 in the 4x100m. In the 4x400m relay, Tyler, Joe Fuller, Dunbar and Shrimpton placed fourth with a 3:17.64.
The Blue and Gold will wrap up the 2016 season next Saturday, April 16, when they host the Florida Division II Collegiate Invitational.
