GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Embry-Riddle men's track and field team wrapped up the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic at the Alachua County Sports Complex, with day two being highlighted by Jacob D'Aleo's record-setting 800m performance.

Carter Speh won the 1000m in a time of 2:58.69, the best of his career, as was the case for Seth Cribben running it in 3:38.12

Overall both Speh and Cribben excelled in the heptathlon, coming in second and fourth place with 3,631 and 3,515 points respectively.

Jake Fritz ran the mile in exactly 4:13, both the best time in his career and the 10th-best in program history.

Isaiah Kline's leap of 1.83m tied his previous personal best, as was Cribben's 2.55m in the pole vault.

Adam Landen had a spectacular performance in the 400m as his time of 49.04 is the second-best in program history, only behind his record of 48.60, while Colin McHugh's time of 51.78 is his career record.

The shot put saw Joshua Dixon (13.03m) and Jacob Swavely (12.58m) set personal bests, while Michael Holmberg tied his personal record of 11.58m.

The 5000m saw plenty of personal bests as well, as Simon Cole (15:00.82), Brandon Santangelo (15:07.39), Ethan Stout (15:09.75) and Ryan Musil (15:44.68) all ran the fastest times of their career.

Jacob D'Aleo finished in fourth place in the 800m with a time of 1:51.85, setting a new program record for the event, as well as hitting a provisional standard.

The Eagles capped off the two-day event in style, as the 4x400m relay team of Derick Brown, Adam Landen, Jacob D'Aleo and Colin McHugh won the event in 3:17.21, the third-fastest time in program history.

The Eagles will return to the Alachua County Sports Complex on Thursday, as they'll be competing in the Florida University Last Chance.
