THE EAGLES
The second-ranked Embry-Riddle women's soccer team is 9-1 on the year and are riding a four-game winning streak since suffering their only loss to fourth-ranked William Carey on Sept. 12. At 4-0 in Sun Conference play, the Eagles sit atop the league's North Division standings.

Last weekend, the Eagles successfully defended their home field with a pair of shutouts as they best Ave Maria 6-0 and Southeastern 3-0.

Andrea Frøshaug continues to pace the Eagles offensively as her team-high 10 goals and two assists has her at 22 points on the year. Isabelle Haaranen is second with 20 points on eight goals and four assists, while Katherine Ebbs continues to lead in the assist category with five.

Gunn took over the program in November 2013 and has guided her team to a 6-5 record so far in 2014, including a 3-1 mark in league play. The Bees last took the field on Oct. 4 and came away with a 2-0 win over South Carolina Beaufort in conference action.

With six goals, Olivia Buechler is leading a SCAD offense that has totaled 21 goals on the year. Kelly McKay has scored four times, while Ryanne Frazier and Alexandria Weinberg have three goals apiece.
Sara Hall is anchoring a SCAD defense that ranks 27th nationally with five team shutouts. Hall has 41 saves and a 1.340 goals against average in 11 appearances.

THE SERIES

The Last Time They Met
The last meeting between the Embry-Riddle and SCAD Savannah women's soccer teams came on Nov. 9, 2013 in the semifinals of The Sun Conference Tournament. The game began quietly as neither team could find much rhythm with the ball, but the Eagles were able to get some solid shots off beginning at the 10-minute mark. Martine Olsen was able to get a header on frame that Ande Eich saved, and a few moments later Valerie Obita's header was similarly saved by Eich to keep the match knotted at 0-0.

In the 40th minute, Eich came out of her box to clear a ball that no SCAD defender could get to, but her clerance was gathered up by Kristin Sverrisdottir just past midfield and the sophomore took a few dribbles into space and drilled a 35-yard shot into the upper-right corner of the Bees' goal as Eich was racing back to protect her net.
ERAU wasted no time in increasing its lead coming out of the halftime break. Sverrisdottir's cross went untouched across the length of the goal to where Isabelle Haaranen was waiting to put the ball away for her eighth score of the year.

SCAD's best chance of the contest came in the 67th minute when Meadhbh Deeney hit the crossbar from 25 yards out that led to a corner, but the Eagles were able to clear the ball from danger.
The Eagles put the game away in the 89th minute when Sverrisdottir and Haaranen teamed up for the second time in the match. Sverrisdottir's cross traveled 40 yards across the field to a sprinting Haaranen who beat Eich for the 3-0 Embry-Riddle advantage.

The Eagles outshot the Bees 13-12 and 7-6 SOG, while SCAD committed 13 fouls to the Eagles' 11.
