ABOUT THE EAGLESThe Eagles bring an 11-4 record into Wednesday's match. The Eagles had their six-match win streak napped by SCAD Savannah on Saturday as the Bees topped ERAU, 6-3 in Savannah. The Eagles took two of three doubles matches, but could manage just one singles victory in the defeat.
Hui-I Huang is 12-9 for the Eagles while
Giovanna Tomiotto boasts a 12-8 mark on the year. Tomiotto and
Kathryn Bock are both 5-1 in conference singles play while the No. 1 doubles team of
Anna Gotz and Huang are a perfect 5-0.
THE SEAHAWKSNorthwood, under the direction of second-year Head Coach Keith Robinson, is 7-4 overall and 4-1 in Sun Conference action, posting just a loss to SCAD Savannah this season.
Adelaide Wood is the top-ranked Seahawks singles player at No. 13 while her doubles partner Valentina Souki and her team up as the 19th-ranked duo in the NAIA.

The ERAU-NU SERIESThe Eagles and the Seahawks are meeting for the 26th time in women's tennis. The Eagles have won 18 of the previous 25 matches.
The Last MeetingThe seventh-ranked Embry-Riddle women's tennis team was able to shake off the rust from not playing against outside competition in nearly two weeks, earning its second Sun Conference win of the season with a 6-3 decision against eighth-ranked Northwood at the Seahawks' home courts on Feb. 28.
The Eagles earned their first point of the day when
Paula Ortiz Couder and
Eva Vilar rolled to an 8-2 win over Julia Ferraz and Livia Toth at No. 2 doubles. At the top spot, the top-ranked duo of
Hui-I Huang and
Kristina Marova earned their 12th victory of the year by besting Justyna Wojcik and Valentina Souki 8-2. The Seahawks got a point back at the second position where Ivana Vlakic and Adelaide Wood topped
Paola Montero and Anna Götz 8-3 to make the team score 2-1 in favor of the visitors.
Marova was the first to finish her singles match, earning a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Wood on court three. At the top singles spot, 11th-ranked Vlakic got the better of ninth-ranked Huang, winning 6-2, 6-1 to close the gap to 3-2.
Götz was next off the court with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Vlakic at the No. 2 spot and Montero bested Toth 6-1, 7-5 on court five to score the clinching point for the Blue and Gold.
Northwood got its third point of the day when Ferraz downed Ortiz Couder 6-3, 6-1 at the sixth spot and Vilar closed out the scoring for the Eagles with a 7-6 (4), 6-2 defeat of Souki at No. 4.
